Rollo Studio builds sculptural lighting from 3D-printed Bavarian quartz sand, shown at London Design Festival, Paris Design Week, and Art Basel Miami. The objects already had authority. The work was building a system around them worthy of it.
I came in as a fractional in-house designer. Creative direction, brand strategy, editorial design, campaign art direction, social and video. The role was a bridge between where the studio was and the calibre it was reaching toward.
A complete catalogue suite. Four lookbooks, a wholesale catalogue, a full trade document, and the Sun Lamps brochure. Campaign direction for the ORBX collection. Social and video art direction across the brand's growing presence. Each piece held the same question. How do you let technical rigour and material beauty occupy the same frame, each one making the other more credible.
At Rollo Studio, the answer lived in the objects. Everything else was built to say the same.
